Senior Software Development Engineer C# (m/f)

Our Customer develops, manufactures and markets products that simplify, automate and innovate complex biomedical testing. The diagnostic systems are found in hospitals and other critical care settings around the world and produce information used by physicians to diagnose disease, make treatment decisions and monitor patients. Instruments for life science research are used by scientists as they study complex biological problems including the causes of disease, identify new therapies, and test new drugs. Customers include hospitals, physicians´ offices, diagnostic reference laboratories, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, universities, medical schools and research institutions. Our customer has more than 200,000 clinical and research instrument systems operating in laboratories around the world.

For Software Engineering Department in munich we are looking for a Software Development Engineer C# (m/f)

Requirements:

Participates in defining and implementing new product or enhanced current designs of software modules and components that meet functional specifications and targeted due dates;
Designs and implements complex multi threaded SW applications to control our Automation Systems;
Collects, interprets and documents system requirements;
Leads and/or participates in component, sub-system and system concept design; verifying key design parameters and evaluating design options;
Develops and recommends methods, tools and designs for software development process improvement or development cost reduction;
Summarizes and presents details of designs, analytical methods and results and leads and/or participates in multi-functional product research and development teams, product and/or system design reviews.

Profile:

University Degree in sciences and at least 8 - 10 years experience in Software Development;
Excellent knowledge of C# and the .NET framework and VS2008, VS2010;
Excellent knowledge of UML;
Knowledge in automation technology / controlling of robots;
Knowledge in developing software for medical devices in a regulated environment (FDA, ISO 13485);
Self motivated team player;
Good communication skills in English, spoken and written;
Good communication skills in German, spoken and written.
